Most internet marketers make their income through their list while there are a group of rare marketers who make their income without a list.

If you are interested to make a full time income through internet marketing, you got to commit yourself to build yourself a sizable list.

Most marketers see list building as the most expensive part of their internet business but there are also effective methods that works for those with shoestring budget.

Therefore the first thing you need to do is to set your marketing budget. Remember: do not stretch yourself too much as internet marketing is a long term business. You need to set your budget such that you can stay in this business for years and not pump every single cents in on the first month hoping you can make some money.

Next, with the budget that you have set, you need to decide on 1 paid method which is using the budget you have. One common mistakes of most marketers is they tend to spread their money too thin to see any effect from their marketing effort. Therefore it is advisable to focus all your budget on 1 or at most 2 paid methods.

Unless you have a big budget for your paid marketing campaign. Once you have decided the paid methods to use, you need to decide on 2 other free methods of traffic generation. The free methods here refer to method that do not need to pay with your money but you need to sacrifice your time instead.
